Making the Link workshops 2012

November 2012

We are currently running a series of free half day training workshops during February and March 2012. These will provide practical support and knowledge and skills development for stakeholders with an interest in child accident prevention and in the commissioning of relevant services and projects.

The presentations from the workshops are available to download at the bottom of the page.

The workshops aim to:

  • Support early intervention, the reduction of inequalities and accident prevention.
  • Bring commissioners of services for children together with practitioners in the statutory and voluntary sectors to help share learning on effective practice.
  • Help embed sustainable, effective and cost-effective programmes of work to keep children safe from harm.
  • Update stakeholders on new local strategic and delivery arrangements including the Public Health Outcomes Framework.
