Final Munro Review published

The final report of the Munro Review of Child Protection has been published and concludes that a one-size-fits-all approach to child protection is preventing focus being placed on the needs of the child.

The third, final report in the review entitled ‘A child-centred system’ makes 15 recommendations including the strengthening of Local Safeguarding Children Boards and the revision of statutory guidance ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children and the Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families’ .
