Course on "Child Accident Prevention and Risk Management"

Each year, two million children are taken to hospital as a result of accidents. This course is designed to support front line practitioners working with parents and children to make accident prevention a priority. 

This one-day interactive course, will give you:

  • insight into the causes and effects of childhood accidents
  • knowledge of good practice in accident prevention and risk management
  • an understanding of the links between child development and accidents
  • examples of good practice
  • practical advice on accident prevention

It is designed for people who work directly with families, including Children’s Centre employees, health visitors and parenting and family support workers.
