A&E Statistics

Category: Hospital data | Source: Former Department of Trade and Industry March 2012RoSPA provide data on A&E attendance from 2000 to 2002 via the HASS and LASS database. Although the database was not updated after 2003, and there is no local data - only national estimates for the UK- the data is the best available source of data which gives an overview of the reasons why children attend A&E.

Hospital admissions data - by local authority

Category: Hospital data | Source: South West Public Health Observatory June 2012The South West Public Health Observatory (SWPHO) provide two sets of data on deaths and hospital admissions.The most recently produced detailed injury profiles allow easy comparisons between English local authorities for deaths and hospital admissions using their InstantAtlasTM tool. The results can be filtered by region and other geographic indicators.
